I would like to get some suggestions on the Humanitarian and Compassionate Application. My father passed away last year and I brought my mother here in Canada (multiple TRV) last year. We have applied for a 2 year extension and still waiting to hear back. I cannot apply for her through the family sponsorship program because I do no meet the income criteria for three years (need to wait another year). I came across some post and forums where they mention the Humanitarian and Compassionate Application for parents who have lost their spouse and have difficulty returning back and staying there because of hardships and lack of people who will take care of them. I was wondering if someone can give me some suggestions (whether they have applied or gone through this process) and guide me. Thank you!
