Recently I emailed HRSDC my job duties to see if they match to the NOC code I intend to use for my application. They replied but I am confused.

I dont quite understand why they mentioned the 2006 version if the 2011 version is exactly the same for code 6211.

Yes, it looks mostly the same, except for the title of the group (Retail Sales Supervisors).

Not sure why they gave you the 2006 version. You should use the 2011 (not that it matters in this case, but that's not true for all occupations.)
