I graduated from a 2-year Canadian master’s program last year and received a shorter work permit (23 months) because my passport was expiring. Technically, I am eligible to get an extension for another year or so once I get my passport renewed. But with all the recent changes in the immigration system, I’m wondering if there’s a chance that I won’t get an extension on my PGWP. I still have another year before my current work permit expires so I’m not sure what to do. Any advice would be much appreciated!
