Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Hi there guys,

Back in 2006 I went to the UK as a International Student. My visa expired in October 2007, but I stayed there until November 2009.

When I left the country they didnt record anything in their system or said that I was illegal. Actually when I left I went through French Immigration as I left by Eurostar to Paris. The only thing the french officer did was to stamp my exit, she didnt even look at me in the eyes, it was like 5 seconds.

I already got PCC for UK last year (No traces). I have visited UK for a week in 2013 and had no problems entering there. Also, I already had two passports after the one which I had my student visa stamped.

Is it better for me to declare that I was illegal there? Or to hide that information and say that after visa expired I returned to my country?

Would I be rejected because of my overstay?

I am not sure what to do..
If someone can help please.

Thanks in advance!

Do not hide anything.

You have overstayed but you left voluntarily, so in this case I wouldn't see there any big problem with your PR in Canada. Provide all information what you are asked in travel history, adress history etc. accodring to the reality.

Even in Canada if you overstay but leave voluntarily you are fine to come back again, without any penalties.

Hi,
I am wondering how's the result of your PR application. Did you end up get PR even you have the overstayed experience? I have the same situation like you. I have overstayed in Europe for 7 months.

Thank you
