How US H1b holder can apply for Canadian PR?

I'm here to find out some information for my friends, who are currently in US.
- One is on OPT and the other one is H1b holder.
- Both completed have completed their US masters in computer science.
- Both are currently working on contract based IT Job.
- They want to apply for Canadian PR.

Should they apply through Federal PR or express entry.
Is there any particular requirement to get eligibility to apply for their respective cases (OPT and H1b).
Please help me with the information how they should more further to process their PR.

Any kind of helping information would be really appreciated.

The process is no different for them than anyone else. There is no special immigration stream for H1b or OPT holders.
