How to update New Renewed/New Passport Information

Hello,

I have already sent my Application to CIO (Payment not charged yet), at the time of sending my passport was getting expired(due to expire in october 2014) and the same details I attached in the application as my renewal was under process. Now I have got the renewed passport, so is it necessary for me to update the new passport information and If yes then How to do it?

Another question is as per the current application processing trend it seems that my application will be processed around year end and by that time my old passport will get expired , and since they do not have my renewed/new passport information so will it create any issues during application processing.

When you sent your application to CIO, did they communicated with you about anything?

No there is no communication from them yet as I believe processing of my application has not yet started.

As u already informed your update regarding the renewal of your passport when the time of application. no worry write a letter again to CIO and mention that you have renewed your passport with new passport number and send them a notarized photo copy with the same.

Do not worry about it , as soon as you get your file number , scan you new passport (no need to be motorized unless your visa office requests notarized copies ) and email it to the visa office processing your application . Make sure you write your name and file number in the subject .
