How to update info?

My application changed from xep to ep, the status shows review of eligible is in process, there is question mark beside it and it shows reviewing if working permit, study permit eligible. But my old working permit expired already and I just got my new working permit, I don't know how to update a new one. . Would they send my package back? I tried contact cic, but always busy Please advices.
