Hello everyone.

As i am planing for my post grad in Canada . I am pretty much anxious about part time job there. Because i have to earn the tuition fees myself. becaz i will not hv any family support further. so is it possible for international student to earn $1500 per month? and it will be more helpful if any one can give me the information about the living cost and income of an international student in Toronto. Moreover i m trying for lambton college, toronto for 2 years masters. tuition fee is 12000 per year. how much I hv to earn to survive there including savings of my tuition fees and how?

I badly need a reply...becaz i m trying for jan session.

Thank You

If money is so tight, maybe you should go somewhere else in Canada, with cheaper tuition and living costs.

yes, you can easily earn $1500 there, but it would be illegal, as you have only 20 hours per week. but if you are ready to do work more than 20 hours, you can earn more than $1500.

You need VISA first .. LOL :P ... recently, too many application got rejected especially post grad. students. So ,think for visa first ...

I think if you managed to earn 1500$ per month from part time jobs, even if it is legal, you wouldn't have time to study well. :/

The problems you could face is the cancelation of your student visa and removal from Canada.

If you are coming to Canada on a student visa - they you are expected to study.

A piece of advise :- manage your study finances here... you r going for study for 2 years not to work. finish your study first. don't jeopardize your career. then you have 3 years of work permit in which you can pay all your debts by working full time and that's what i call THE PAYBACK TIME... :P :P :P

And as @mead said you can manage ur living expenses only with part time job not tuition fees...
