My RCMP clearance just arrived today.
I was reading about how to send it to CIC and it said something like this:
** Applicants for immigration to Canada must enter the name and address of the Canadian Immigration Center, Embassy, Consulate or High Commission handling the case in the "Name and Address of Contributing Agency/Dept" portion of the C216C.
I am now confused. The certificate doesn't come in that format, nor there is any place to write on it (I wouldn't even want to put a pen on it). That C216C format is when you have your fingerprints taken and then it is how you send them to RCMP? Or is that how you submit your results to CIC?
Anyway. Experts who have submitted themselves their RCMP certificates succesfully can provide some guidance? What should I put in the envelope with the original certificate?
Thanks a lot!!!!!
(Yeah I know lots sent it via their fingerprint agency, but many of us didn't know of this service, so we are doing it ourselves).
