Hello everyone,

My husband and I want to start the whole processes of my husband being approved as a sponsor, and we are kind of lost, this is confusing.
So he needs to filled out some application and I do too and send all of that to Canada, but also I do need to apply with almost the same information to the embassy here in Mexico, or is different info?? ggrrwwwaaaaa so confusing!

I heard that my husband needs to be approved first to become a sponsor, right? and then send out all the information, or what?

Seriously this is big pain in the behind, haha! :D

Please HELP!! ???

You have to send both halves of the application together (in one package - at the same time). So you need to complete both the sponsor package/forms and applicant sponsor/forms before you can submit the application.

It's really not that bad, takes a few minutes to do each form, the part that will take the most time is organizing all your relationship proofs.

Of course, in Reality, your paranoia level will be SO high that you will check each form again and again to see if you HAVE filled it in correctly. You then find a minor typing error and have to start over on that form because Adobe Acrobat Reader is broken and won't allow you to edit a saved form, etc...

You should allow a couple of months to really get your head round the whole process, do medicals, get PCCs (where required), sort out your various documentary evidence etc.

It's very easy to feel overwhelmed by it all, but that is what this forum is for.

Bon Chance...
