Hi. My mother is applying for a temporary resident's visa (TRV) in order to visit me for less than 6 months. I am a PR holder.

I have not found any option anywhere on forms to specify whether it would be single-entry or multiple entries. I know that it is the same price for both but how would she ask for multiple entries?

The cic website says that TRV can be granted for as long as 10 years with multiple entries, but how would one ask for it?

Anybody has any idea?

All TRV applications are automatically considered for multiple-entry. You do not have to ask.... there's no SEV/MEV select option.

The length of a TRV issued will depend on the assessment made by a visa officer. If s/he believes that a TRV applicant has adequate reasons to return to Canada then the TRV validity could be maximum until passport expiry (not a standard 10 years maximum validity)
