Hi,

Besides the birth certificate, what are other papers to show a relationship with a Canadian citizenship?

Please give some advice!

Thanks

New Horison,
Sorry, but I'm a little confused by your question. Are you asking for what evidence would one include to prove the relationship is genuine? Or are you asking for other papers to show Canadian status/citizenship?

Do you mean how to prove Canadian citizenship? You can see here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/citizenship/proof.asp

If somebody is born in Canada, they prove it with birth certificate, if they are not, they have to apply for a citizenship certificate. When you immigrate to Canada and become a citizen, you are given a citizenship certificate at the oath ceremony.

If you want to apply for a citizenship certificate for a baby of a Canadian citizen born outside of Canada, you would need the baby's birth certificate and the parents proof of citizenship, either birth certifiate or Canadian citizenship certificate.

Thanks Leon,

I meant that I don't have my sibling's birth certificate because it was burnt as well as my house about 30 years ago. Therefore, I don't know how to show CIC about the relationship between me and my sibling. What are other papers instead?

Your sibling should be able to get a copy of the birth certificate from some statistics department of country they were born in.
