When I was applying I read in the guide that the police certificate had to be issued after my arrival in Canada. I had a one that I issued 1 week before departure from my country. I sent the one I had, with a note stating that it would take up to 4 months to issue a new Police Certificate while being in Canada (Overseas Bureaucracy).
One month later I received a letter stating that my package was received. Now, I received the new Police Certificate from my Embassy.
Should I send it proactively, or should I wait until being contacted by CIC?. Is there a possibility that they will just act on the one they have?
If I have to send it, what would be the best practices to avoid delays, confusions or any unexpected issues?
Before this time, my package was returned twice and I neither have the energy nor the sanity for a third failure, lol
