Need your expert advise on a peculiar situation that I am facing!
I applied for a Canadian Study Permit and my wife applied for SOWP (Spouse Open Work Permit). Our application were approved in time and the passport request letter came to us in our CIC account. I could submit my passport and got it stamped but my wife couldn't as she is in Finland on Business Visa currently and hence, her stamping is still pending.
I spoke to the Embassy of Canada in Finland about the issue but they advised us to visit the London VAC for this issue, however, this would require Visitor VISA for UK, and if we follow this solution, eventually the deadline for passport submission and thence stamping will expire.
Please help me & let me know as to whom can I reach out to for requesting an extension for passport submission and VISA stamping.
Note: I have already dropped an email to the Canadian High Commission in New Delhi but they did not revert in last 10 days. I am afraid that if they respond late, the deadline for stamping will anyways be missed
