Since you have a file number, you can advise CIC with a medical report about your pregnancy stage. This will ensure that CIC is aware of an addition to your family at a later date. If you get a passport request after your child is born, you will have to inform CIC of child birth, they will extend your deadline for passport submission. You will then have to submit medical for the baby and childs passport along with yours.

Since you are only 7 weeks pregnant, if your PR gets approved before your child is born, I would recommend giving birth in Canada - child will be a Canadian automatically...if this is not possible, you will have to file a dependent sponsorship application ( this process could take 3 to 6 months). You will not be able to take your child to canada before this can be processed.
