How to renew/extension of stay under super visa?

Hello,

My mom is staying in Canada with us since April 2015 under super visa and she will be reached 2 years of her staying in April 2017. She has an intention to stay with us longer than 2 years. Her visa is valid until February 2019. I read in the CIC's website that super visa needs to be renewed in every two years. I do have couple of questions regarding renew her super visa or extension of her staying:

1. How can she renew her super visa or extend her stay beyond April 2017?
2. Can she do that while staying here in Canada or she needs to leave Canada and apply for renew/extend from her home country?

Any suggestion/advice would be much appreciated. Thank you!

I was under the impression that after a stay of 2 yrs they must return and then come again after some time.
Perhaps send her back now and bring her back after winter for another 2 yrs.

Call CIC 1-888-242-2100 and speak to an agent if necessary.
Check her Visitor Record (immigration document) in her passport issued by CBSA when she first came, it should be with her or in her passport.
Read it very carefully.
