So in the past 2 months I have been trying to reach a CIC agent by phone (1-888-242-2100) dozens of times and have always been told to try again later due to high call volume. There's no option to wait in queue as the call will then be disconnected right away.
I saw in this forum a lot of people have successfully reached a call center agent and was wondering how they managed to do that. Any insight?

I just got off the phone with a CIC agent. I did not have any hassle. Try calling the number again

call 1-888-242-2100 and use option 4 and 0. If it does not connect, hang up and repeat the same procedure. It may take anywhere around 5-25 attempts.
 
Thanks everyone, I just tried again and got through after a 13 mins waiting. The agent was very helpful.
 
Best times to call are around 10-11 AM and 2-3 PM.
