How to quickly get Canadian Visitor VISA from USA

I need to Visit Canada on 26th July for a conference. And it's already 13th June. I was wondering how I could get the Visitor VISA quickly (specially since the website says, NY now takes 38 days and Los Angeles takes 35 days to process a submitted application)

I am not a citizen of USA and I need to visit a Canadian Visa Application Center (VAC) for providing biometrics information. I live in Washington and the nearest VAC is Los-Angeles.

Could anyone tell me whether I should apply online (and then provide biometrics in Los-Angeles or other VAC) or (if allowed) I should better go to Los-Angeles in person and submit papper application there. Which one would be faster?

Another question, for providing biometrics, do I need to go to Los-Angeles or Seattle ASC (Application Support Center) is fine?

After rereading your post, I guess you live in Washington State. Anyway, you can not go to the VAC to apply for visa. You need to apply online. After few days you will get a letter asking you to go to give biometrics. The letter will advise where to go. Most propbably it will be Seattle ASC. You can't go for biometrics unless you have a copy of the letter.

Hi Bonitailleda, Thank you very much for the info. Then, I don't have much option left. I have to apply online now and wait for the processing to happen. Any idea how long it usually takes to get the VISA after applying online? Any way to expedite the expected time of the process?

Also, is there a way to send them a usps flat rate express envelope so that they may send me the passport back in it?

I really appreciate your help.
