Hi,

I have done electronic engineering in 2011 and I am working as a managing partner in a manufacturing firm of mechanical parts. What documents do I need for proving my experience under express entry profile ? I also started another firm which manufactures electronic parts recently in 2015. I am also participating in the technical work but don't understand how to prove it as I myself cannot attest my job duties . Please also suggest me if I can apply as a self employed because I work as a Managing partner?

Thanks in advance.

If it is in-Canada experience, you cannot use self-employment experience.

If it is foreign work experience, follow the guide - under Proof of Work Experience, there is a paragraph on self-employment -

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp

"if the applicant is self-employed, articles of incorporation or other evidence of business ownership, evidence of self-employment income and documentation from third-party individuals indicating the service provided along with payment details (self-declared main duties or affidavits are not acceptable proof of self-employed work experience)."
