How to link Express Entry application to Job Bank Registration?

Hello All,

I recently created my profile for Express Entry. After submitting the profile, I reviewed "check status and messages" section. That section suggest my Job Bank Registration is pending. I have already created my job seeker account however, I don't know how to connect it with my application. I don't see any option there. Not sure if I am missing something or not. It will be hugely appreciated if I get some solution from this forum.

You need to use your Job seeker validation code to active your EE profile.. After creating your EE profile, you got a message in your mycic account.. Download that message and you will get step by step procedure to create and activate your job seeker account.. Just follow that and you will be good, I believe..

I have submitted my application on 5th of this month and I have still not got any message under mycic account. Does it take a while for system to generate the message? I will wait for few more days but, just wondering if I need to follow any extra steps to get the message you are suggesting in your response. Also, my score is 383 and the system suggest that I met the minimum entry criteria. So that should not be a problem, just to be on the same page.

The first message comes with job seeker code and you have to create the JB account with that. Otherwise, you are not in pool and will not pulled into any draw.
Usually, the message with Job seeker code comes immediately after submitting your profile but it should not be taking more than a day.

You should get the message just after submitting your profile.. An email should come with a subject "You have a new message in your MyCIC account for application: XXXXXXXXXX".. The you should find a message under "check Status and messages" button from your profile with a subject 'Express Entry profile received - Next Steps - JobBank - March-X-2015 XX:XX:XX AM EST'.. you need to Download that message as PDF. If you guyz didn't receive such, then don't know what is happening with the system.. Few other members also reported this issue..

Strange enough, I haven't received any such message. Anybody knows a workaround to that? Should I delete the profile and recreate it again? Would that create any issues?

Hi, I´m having the same exact issue. did you get the message eventually?
I created the first one a while ago but for the first 15 days of january we had a work permit and then expired. So I never received a validation code for my job seeker account and was advised to create a new one. So I did, and I have not received the message saying I´m eligible but is showing me the 313 points I had before. I did not withdraw the first profile yet because I was afraid this was going to happen. Any advised that is not waiting for a month for tech support at cic comes back and say do the profile again?

Guyz.. this is just a workaround.. Please try this.. Already, i suggested this to one of the members and she confirmed that it worked for her..

Try to create your account with this link https://seeker.jobbank.gc.ca/seeker/ .. They should ask you about your job seeker validation code.. try to use last 4 digit of your passport as job seeker validation code.. Complete your jobbank profile and upon completion you should get the confirmation message in your email and mycic account... You should also find that your EE profile status is Submitted, open and Job bank registration is Accepted.. Please let us know whether this workaround works for you or not..

its been more than a week now , whenever i try to get register and input my EE and job seeker validation code , it says' we currently experiencing tehnical difficulties please try again later, if the problem persists contact the job bank team. contacted several times on job bank support, got ticket number but still no solution ..

what should i do ?

Today, I tried and found no problem.. Atleast another 2 members also created their jobbank account today, according to my knowledge.. We didn't face any issue.. Can you try again ?

Well.. Now u need to wait for ITA message.. apart from that you may get mail with subject that "Your Application(XXXXXXXX) has been updated", but may be you will not find any update/Change in your EE profile or your CRS points. This type of mail comes randomly from CIC, after creating my profile i got 3 times.. But there should not be any worry.. I guess, CIC occasionally Sort/Poll between submitted applications and may rearrange the database.. and thus system sends an automated message..

i tried again a number of times but still getting the message '' the form could not be submitted 1 error found: we are currently experiencing technical difficulties. please try again later, if the problem persists, contact the job bank team."

got reply from job bank ' please try again to see if the problem has been resolved. if the problem persists please do not hesitate to contact us with details of the problem.

dont know what to do ??
