How to know that Medical is received

I noticed many applicants mention the date when the results are received in Ottawa, how exactly do they know that they are received on a certain date in Ottawa, for example, I did my medical on the 7th of April 2009 ( under the new rules), what would the date my medical is received in in Ottawa be, and how long does it take for the results to be sent to Buffalo? Any ideas?

You will have to ask your doctor for this information. He can give you the tracking number or just the confirmation of when did Ottawa received the medicals.
