How to know status of Citizenship application

It has been almost one and half years, since i applied for citizenship .. No news yet.
Is there something that I can order under privacy law.. such as CAIPS or FOSS or GCMS?

I know CAIPS is for immigration applications abroad and FOSS for is in canada application .. does it mean, i will have to order FOSS?
