How to know remain time to get visa ?

Hello,

My grilfriend is supposed to visit me in Montreal and, because she is Filipina, she had to
get a visa. The CIC GC received her demand the 3th of may, we are the 26, and she didn't
get her visa yet... She is supposed to take her flight the 27 and I try every possible way to
get the information but I still have no clue for the moment...

I have to admit that I'm kind of desperate.

It's not a good idea to book tickets in advance. You may want to consider re-booking/cancelling.

All those things I already know, and the process is anounced to be 12 days long... not the double.
And, believe me, if we could have done it sooner we would. Unfortunately life isn't always so easy,
and this was our last chance to see each other before a long time.

As processing has exceeded the stated time of 12 days, you can send a Case Specific Enquiry i.e. a Web form on the IRCC website to the relevant visa office + do email the visa office also requesting for an urgent decision.

You may want to mention the circumstances for requesting an urgent decision (preferably with evidence)

Unfortunately, yes. Four days ago my girlfriend send an e-mail but she has no answer for the moment.
I've got to accept the fact that there is no solution to our problem...
