Hi there,

I completed the medical test 4 days ago and the hospital where I did my medical does not provide e-medical service. Hence, my question is, how am I able to know my medical result?

As far as I know, the hospital would call me within a week or so if there is anything wrong on the result and thus additional test is required. Otherwise if there is no call or anything, that means pass. Is this the general case?

Also, does hospital usually send us a medical result via mailing (if they do not provide E-medical) or do they only provide the result to CIC?

Hi

If there was something that required medical attention, the Panel Physician would let you know.

Your medical file will go to the IRCC Regional Medical Office for review. They will decide if further testing is required or if the medical passes. This can take awhile.

You will not get a copy of the medical. They send it to IRCC.

hi ,

we do have the same concern.i just called the hospital where i undergo my medical exam , and they said the result already sent to IRCC the following day after my med examination and so they cant provide any answer if the result is fine or not. a bit confusing! but most cases they say if theres no call for about three weeks then for sure theres nothing wrong about your medical.

The hospital is not decision making authority here, they are like a pathology lab certified by IRCC. They just examine and submit the report to IRCC. Upon final lcompletion of application submission, you get to know if you have passed medical test (within couple of weeks).
Also it is subjected to every hospital’s policy whether to intimate applicants upon finding adverse results. They anyways have to submit findings to IRCC as they are. Only benefit to applicants in this case is knowing what’s wrong. If IRCc finds any adversities they will either request further tests or reject the application altogether.

Incorrect. The Panel Physician is obligated to inform applicants if any health concerns needing treatment/diagnosis are found.
