How to know if my employer has LMIA?

Hello, i've a few questions about the LMIA,i'm little confused wheter or not should i submit my job offer to request my work permit if my employer has or not LMIA.

1.-Where can i find if my employer has LMIA?

2.-Does every job posted here https://www.jobbank.gc.ca/ has LMIA?

3.- i have a job offer in a cleaning residencial service , does he needs some permit to hire me? im currently outside Canada. Im from a visa excempt country(mexico)

1. You will have to ask your employer to know

2. No all jobs posted on jobbank.ca does not have LMIA

3. Yes your employer will have to apply for LMIA first and that takes 4 to 6 months processing including the advertising to show that no Canadian/PR residents are available to do the job and they will have to pay $1000 processing fee as well.


Your job offer will be difficult to get a approved LMIA because its a low skilled position and practically anyone can do the job.

What should I need to do if i also want to get LMIA from them? do they need to go over everything again? thanks

Yes - they need to do everything again - including the advertising.

I see,,,so each LMIA is only good for one employee
