How to justify Travel History as a reason for refusal?

I have been admitted to University of Waterloo for Mmath CS Fall 18. My student permit application was recently rejected and one of the reasons for refusal was travel history.

I am putting together a letter of explanation for my refusal, and in the same I am trying to justify the reason for travel history as follows:

As submitted with my application, I hold a single passport with number *** issued by Government of India on ***, valid until ***. I do not hold any passport from other countries. Also, I do not hold any expired passport issued by India or any other country.

As shown in my submitted passport, I have not yet traveled to any other countries outside of India until now. I did not have any purpose to visit other countries until now as I have been focused on my academic and professional goals, preparing for a higher education.

I have tried to make it clear that I am not hiding my travel history in first para and giving justification for not having traveled earlier in second para. Somehow, I am not convinced that this is enough. The only reason I have not traveled up until now is because there was no reason to. What is the best way to communicate this to VO?

Thanks!
