How to immigrate via express entry

Hello,
I am planning to immigrate to Canada via Express Entry. I see that there are many details and I confused.
First of all, I am preparing for IELTS exam but should I get a job offer? I have no job offer nor province nominee letter. How can I go on through this process and how can I get a province nominee acceptance ?
Would you please advise me ?
