How to get through the custom?

Hi,

My kids and I are Canadian citizens with passports, etc. And we are planning to move back in the summer. My husband is not a Canadian and we would like to bring our nanny with us.

I assume that we will have to apply for tourist visas for my husband and the nanny so we could get into Canada.

But what do I tell the custom so they can accompany us while we are "moving" back to Canada?

Your husband can't just apply for tourist visas to move back to Canada with you and kids, he need to be sponsored by you. Read the website www.cic.gc.ca for details.

As for the nanny, you might want to read the section for live-in caregivers in the above website.
