Dear All,
As the D-Day for Express Entry is approaching, there are a lot of questions coming up regarding the document requirements.
One of the Prime Document is the PCC ( Police Clearance Certificate ).
According to the CIC Website, the PCC is described as follows:
What is a police certificate?
A police certificate is a copy of your criminal record or a statement that you do not have a criminal record. Police certificates are different in each country and territory. They may be called:
police clearance certificates,
good conduct certificates,
judicial record extracts or
other names.
Who needs a police certificate?
In general, you and all the people in your family who are 18 or older need to get a police certificate. You must get one from each country or territory where you have lived for six or more months in a row since the age of 18.
The certificate must be issued no more than three months before you apply.
If your certificate is in a language other than English or French, send it when you apply, along with the original copy of a translation done by a certified translator.
I am sure there would be lot of "unfortunate" people like me who have stayed more than 6 months in more than 5-6 places since the age of 18, and we need to provide the PCC for the same.
I was in places like Bangalore, Mumbai, Kolkata and Gurgaon for my education and job.
Now I am in a fix - I am in Gurgaon since last 6 years and how do I manage to get the PCC from other places ?
Its theoretically possible but not sure how much feasible practically.
My question is:
1. Is there any easier way to get the PCC from multiple locations of stay ?
2. Is there any particular format for the PCC to be done ?
Please help if anyone has already got their PCC done. I think this could be a common problem.
You can email me at: dwaipayan.mojumder@gmail.com or you can give me your number by SMS or WA, My No is: +91-9873971342.
I will get in touch with you.
Regards,
Dwai
