Hello everyone,

I am literally tired and frustrated after my 3rd attempt in IELTS.

1st Attempt:
L-8, R-6.5,S-8.5,W-7

2nd Attempt:
L-8, R-9,S-7.5, W-6.5

3rd Attempt:
L-8.5,R-7,S-7.5,W-6.5

In my first attempt, i had no preparation and I got 7 in writing. Then i started preparing to achieve a higher score, but i am totally unable to understand this score since it has no trend :(

Currently, I have a score of 394 and now i believe that is my limit.

Is there any way, i can get rid of this frustration and achieve my goal?

Would you be eligible for a PNP nomination? Maybe you could explore that option.

before that, did you try for a reval?

Take some coaching for a couple of months.

BC and IDP both are now money making machine they know PR requirement is CLB9 so they are not fulfilling our requirements.

As I see preparing for ielts did not help me at all, Should i try for one last time without any preparation and check my luck? Does coaching help much?

First of all take a break for a few days. You are thinking too much. I analyzed your scores. Its not bad.

Average: L 8 R 7.5 S 8 W 6.5 based on your three attempts.

1. You need to keep your Listening at 8 or higher. Getting 8.5 or higher depends on your discipline in terms or preparation and on the day of the test.
2. Your Reading score can go above 8 easily. Maintain consistency in preparations and then day of the test focus. Its possible.
3. You seem to be good with speaking. Getting an 8 is really good. Keep doing well here.
4. Writing getting 7 or higher should be your target. Prepare accordingly. Very few people get 8 or higher. But honestly 7 or 7.5 should be in range for most of us.

Try and get the following scores depending on how much your CRS is expected. I analyzed my CRS and then went for test knowing what i required and got that.

L 8.5 or Higher R 8 or Higher S 8 or Higher W 7 or 7.5 or higher (maintain discipline and consistency during preparation and prep tests. try and replicate test environment as much as possible. It definitely helps on the day of the test)

I took 45 days to prepare using various resources.

tks,

Ok, there r very small and easy to make mistakes we do in writing. I joined ielts advantage 1 week free writing webinar. It just helped me brush up things I learnt in school and I got my score. Ielts advantage is holding another such webinar ( I recieved an email) its free of cost, just try that.

I think band 6 means that there are not just text structuring and composition mistakes, but also grammar.
It is extremely hard to improve your writing on your own, as you probably don`t know what your mistakes are. I would strongly recommend having at least a few classes with a teacher who specializes in IELTS preparation. I would have done it right after the first failed attempt. You may get lucky with listening and reading, but writing and speaking are all about actual proficiency.
