Fellas, I want to pursue Research based Masters in Electrical Engineering with financial assistance. In Energy Systems (specifically Smart Grids). My Profile;
B.E. (Electronics)=82.22%, GRE 310 (V 150, Q 160), TOEFL 95.

I want to get in contact with any professor first for financial assistance. Emailed some professors but haven't received any response yet. Besides one good ranking uni, I need to choose a low ranking uni among these;
Calgary, Victoria, Saskatchewan, Ottawa, Regina, Ryerson, Concordia.
With the few factors in mind—Probable admission chances, reputation, tuition fees, and the most importantly financial assistance. If you suggest Calgary then pls mention any other name as well b/c Calgary has a good reputation.
And pls do let me know if you know any professor who's more likely to respond :D

Waiting for your precious suggestions :)

dude professors never gonna respond on financial assistance emails, ever...... They need students who are genuinely interested and want to do research in their area of expertise. So your best bet is to pitch a smart topic of research to them and if they give you supervisory commitment then you should ask for financial assistance... u of Saskatchewan, U of Ottawa are offering a number of graduate scholarships and if not there is always Teacher Assistance, Research Assistance opportunities in every university

Yeah I didn't ask for financial assistance right now. I just offered a simple proposal for research.

You should apply for the schools then apply for a student visa - once you are there, after a year or two of studying and researching, THEN you ask for financial assistance.

Unless your research proposal is something very special - there would be no offers at this point.
