How to get PCC from Police Commissioner Office - Pune

Hi All,

There is very little information of getting PCC from CO. Mostly its mentioned from the passport office.
But since my passport is from another state n i have been living in pune for the last 5 years I have to get it from CO, Pune.
Anyone who has got it done, please share his/her experience.

Anyone who has got it done, can you please confirm it.
Also please share the steps how you got it done. How long was the process and can i do by myself or a agent is needed?

I m not sure abt thi. I m staying in pune since 1 year. My passport is from gujarat and so I applied for PCC from gujarat only.

I would recommend you apply for PCC at your local passport office (PSK). They are more efficient in issuing PCCs than the police.

Get the PCC from Passport Seva Kendra - the PCC issued from there will be based on your passport and will cover all the addresses across different state you have lived in India, that's my 2 cents.
There were people on the forum who were rejected due to PCC issued from different states were missed by applicants, while submitting their application.
