how to get p.r to marry a citizen of canada?

hi m karan,
i just wanna confirm that i am a student in canada and i am going to get marry to a citizen girl. so do i have to do a traditional marriage or court marriage would be okay for us. Because i dont wanna create any problems in my p.r so please tell me that court marriage is a good option or not?
