How to get a work permit?

Hi,

I am from Taiwan and now I'm in Canada with my temporary resident visa, which will be expired on Jan 20th. I've got a job offer and I'm wondering how I should get a positive LMO? Is it too late to apply for a work permit now? What's the next step I should go through after getting a job offer? Do I need to apply from inside or outside Canada?
