How to find status of application for visa applied online?? plz help my flight December

Guys I applied for online study permit on 28th October for MEngg course starting in January 2014. How can I check the status of my application? I've already dropped an email in New Delhi embassy but haven't heard from them. Most of the other students who have opted for the same course and university have got the visas, but all applied via VFS. I am really tensed because my flight is in December, I just have one month. Can anyone tell me whom should I contact about my concerns.

PS - I am from Punjab and I did not hire any consultant.

if you have Applied you need to check it from Where you have submitted it. Login to your GIC Account and Check If you have Got some Messages or Not.

if you have Applied you need to check it from Where you have submitted it. Login to your GIC Account and Check If you have Got some Messages or Not.

I daily check MyCic account.
Last message I got was on 29th October regarding OCWP request and I did not fill it coz I'm not eligible to do so.

or

after you logged press "?" symbol on your right hand side next to "apply online"

Mention in the inquiry that your Application has passed 21 days which was the mentioned processing time during your online application.

I did go through it but it says nothing about the delay. Any idea?
