How to fill family information in native language?

On the family information form (imm5645) they ask for names in both english and native language. My parents names are both in chinese in their passports. They have the pinyin version (normal characters), but how do I fill with native language if it just shows blank boxes when typing? Should I print, fill and scan? Can I add a word sheet with their names? Should I just leave it out? Any help would be appreciated.

Doesn't imm5645 need signature anyway? You can print the filled form, hand write those names on the form. Get the form signed, scan and upload. (if you are submitting online)

Are you able to type it up in a word document or somewhere you know where Chinese characters work, and then copy and paste that in the form? It worked for me on IMM 5645 on Acrobat (but Pro...not sure if it will also work on Reader)
