HOW TO FILE TAXEs FOR SPOUSE???

Hello,

My spouse and I got married in 2011 and she came to canada as a PR in May 2012. I sponsored her under spousal sponsorship. She had previously worked in Singapore from where she is. How should I file taxes for her. My questions are:

1. We are going to file taxes together, what should I report for her income.

2. Do I need to report her income? If so under what section. (Is it foreign income?)

3. Is it fine if I report her income "0(Zero)".

Could somebody help me out with this please.

Your best bet would be to meet an expert to file your taxes for you. Generally you can call and book and appointment and explain your situation and then you would be told what documents to bring with you respectively.
