Hello, I need help regarding my family status here in Canada. I’m an international student who just recently graduated from 2year course, and my family is here with me.
i dont have a job offer yet, and my visa is expiring soon. Should my husband convert his owp to visit, or should he wait till i got an offer?
If he convert to visit, will the length of his visa the same as my pgwp?
And also, i have a daughter who is 20yrs old, and on student visa, i cannot afford to enroll her, can i convert her student visa to visit? And will her length of stay be the same as mine too?
Thank you

It's not sufficient just to have a job offer to extend your spouse's SOWP. The job must be NOC A, B or 0 and you must have already started working and be able to provide three pay slips as part of the application to extend the OWP. It's really up to you if you wait to see if you can get a job or convert your husband's status to visitor. If you end up having to convert your husband's status to visitor, make sure IRCC receives his application before his OWP expires to keep him in status in Canada. It will be up to IRCC how long a visit he is granted.

Yes, you can conver your daughter's status to visitor. It will be up to IRCC how long a stay she is granted. If she is working, she will need to stop.

Was your daughter already studying? If she takes a break that is not scheduled that will impact her ability to qualify for PGWP.

No, she’s not studying. We cannot afford to enroll her right now because the tuition fee for international student is triple. So I’m looking for a way that I can still include her on my dependents as I apply for my pgwp.

If she has not been studying her study permit should have been cancelled after 90 days and her school should have reported her as a “no show”. You should check what her current status is and if her school has not reported her for not attending school she should change her status from student to visitor. If she has been reported amd lost her status she has to see whether she qualifies for restoration. There is no guarantee she will be able to remain in Canada while you work since she is not a student or a temporary vieitor. What has she been doing for the past few years since high school?
