How to explain working temporarily overseas

Hey there,

Inputing information after ITA, I have a question as to how to input working overseas, (outside of my country of origin/residence).

As an example I worked for 4/5 months in abroad in France, from December 2013 - April 2014.

I know i need to put that I was employed in France at this time in my personal activity section, but do I also have to specify this under my travel history?

This is pretty confusing as to how to correctly display this to CIC, don't want anything to flag up as an overlap, but sometimes travel and work can be the same thing!

Thanks very much

Hi there

I had the same situation, work abroad in a few countries.

I mentioned it both under work history and personal history. Under travel history, I put the dates I left the country, then the day I came back (if there is no stamp on the passport, try finding the flight itineraries), so that IRCC knows I have been travelling on these days.

Just my 2 cents.
