You are given certain time period to complete your medicals. You have to complete them within that time period unless you are pregnant or have some serious illness that prevents you from getting the medicals done (in that case I would be more worried about my health, then Canadian medicals )

Why do you want to delay the medicals? Please don't say passport renewal

If you are given 60 days to get done with the meds, all you can do is to take appointment somewhere in the last two weeks instead of doing it in the initial weeks,

1. I cant skip my job before Dec 2014
2. My passport is due for renewal on Jul 2014


Can i renew my passport prior and inform the visa office of renew update? OR should I wait until the expiry of my PP.
well there is another way here in Saudi i.e extension of passport for 1 year, Should i go for extension??? Is it acceptable by the visa office?

There are 2 reasons to delay the medical.

1. I cant skip my job before Dec 2014 Not sure when your 60 days to complete the medicals end, but if you have enough time an appointment in the end of November might get you a December visa expiry.
2. My passport is due for renewal on Jul 2014 There is no "due for renewal" in Pakistani passport. You can have the passport renewed today if you want (had my wife's passport renewed in Dubai which still had 9 months validity and no questions were asked). Do not go for the 1 year renewal thing, it was something started by Rehman Malik and even FIA in Pakistani airports is not accepting this.

My advise to you (I have already done this, so speaking from experience and it is the same advise I got from immigration lawyer), do your medicals with the current passports. As soon as your DMP confirms your results have been sent to CIC, immediately go and have your passports renewed with urgent fees. The expiry date of visa will be linked to the passport you send once you get your passport request, not the one you do your medicals with. If still not convinced, think of it this way, people get passport requests almost a year after the medicals, CIC does not expect applicants to have their passports valid for that long.

The real problem you may have, which you are not considering is transferring your iqma to the new passport. Your company may not be happy with the costs associated with this.

But i still have one question, As u mentioned that i should send my new passport OR should i attach my old passport with that new one?
Since there is instruction to attach the old passport for at least 2 years with the new one..

Instructions to attach the old one to the new one??? Who told you this?

Just send the new one once you get passport request, as the old passport number will be mentioned on the new one.

Have you booked your medicals yet? Even if you want to take the maximum time allowed in your MR letter, I still suggest you do the booking now.

Well as you can see from my timeline on the left side, I did the medicals on a Monday and got the passport request on the Tuesday of next week.

This is not a hard and fast timeline and not predictable at all.

Medicals done on Aug 26, 2013, the validity of medicals as per the COPR document I got with my visas is 2 September 2014.

since you are living in Dubai (Middle East) that's why they possessed it fast? I am just assuming !!!
