Sir/Mam,
I need your help. I am an international Pharmacy student on a study permit. I took a pharmacy bridging program which is 6 months in length. I am in the processing of getting my pharmacy license and I would be taking my licensure exam this coming May 2009. I am also looking for an internship position at a local community pharmacy and I have quit a few questions. I have a prospective employer who is willing to sponsor my work permit as long as I dont have to apply it from my country of origin.
1. What do I need to convert my study permit to work permit?
2. Do I have to go back to the Philippines to apply my work permit there or is it possible to apply for my work permit inside canada.
3. How long does it usually take to convert my study permit to work permit?
