How to claim over two years driving experience on my Ontario driver’s licence application?

Hello, I will be applying for an Ontario driver’s licence. I have 25 years of previous driving experience and would like to gain credit for it on my application so that I can take the G road test immediately. My country does not have a driver’s licence exchange agreement with Ontario and also does not issue any type of official letter of driving experience.

My valid foreign driver’s licence is in English and contains details such as name, date of birth, photo, blood type, stamp and seal. It also has the expiry date on the front and the very initial date of issuance on the back (confirming my 25 years of driving experience). Can I present my foreign driver’s licence to a drive test center in lieu of a letter of authentication? Will they accept it as official proof of having over 24 months of driving experience and waive the G2 Test requirement? Do I need to get a notarized copy of it? Thanks.

I'm afraid that your license itself may not work in place of driving history. The reason for asking driving history is to see if you have traffic tickets in your driving records in last two years

How did you come to know they don't issue letters, did you contact officials back home? Or did you contact your embassy in Canada?

The reason i'm asking is cause officials in home country are far from the "scene" and don't usually understand why this would be needed, but you would have a better chance when contacting the embassy in canada and ask them what are possible alternatives, how they could help..etc
