You will have to file your tax return when it's due and CRA will return any overpaid tax. If you were a tax resident, you will be assessed just like anyone else.

Thx zardoz,

But I'm not leaving there in Canada any more,so that's why I ask this question.
I'm not leaving there not planning to go back so whats the point let them have dose taxes.

thx again zardoz

"Those taxes" were your contribution to the country in return for the social services you availed (or could have availed in the case of EI) while living in Canada. As Zardoz said, you can file your income tax return, and in case you overpaid at all, you will be entitled to have that amount refunded. Otherwise, you can not get that money back.

Ehm, while you lived in Canada you used roads paid for by taxes, used public transit subsidized by taxes, were protected by police which is paid for by taxes, ... Or do you think Santa pays for that? :)
