How to change mailing address on ECAS?

Recently I completed my medicals in India, hence anticipating PPR in another couple of weeks. Real problem is my file is with CPP-Ottawa, and it's been 1.5 years since I left North America. I have a Canadian address (friend's) as my mailing address on ECAS. I have been trying to change it to an Indian address, but I am unable to change because it can only take Canadian addresses.

When I have my PPR, if I am instructed to submit my passport at Ottawa, then I will be in deep trouble. Because- Neither I do possess a visa to enter Canada nor I can mail/courier my passport outside of India.

I am hoping if I have an Indian address on ECAS, then I may be instructed to submit my passport at New Delhi (India). This could be a real life saver.

Have you tried sending them email regarding address change?

No. Should I wait until it says "decision made" on my ECAS?

If I request Ottawa to change my mailing address now- is it going to affect my processing?

changing address now wont change your primary visa office. Wait until you get PPR and then request them. They will ask your home country visa office to issue you PR visa.
