How to change / cancel IQAS assessment type

Hello

Friend mistakenly I chose the wrong assessment “Specialized Assessment” but I am in need of “ECA application for immigration purpose”.

As mentioned at web, application will be cancel and refund, and another application with new start.

How they refund.

If you have any info regarding above please share.

Today i got return receipt from IQAS within two days, they cancel my wrong application on my request and then i will have to process new one.

While filling the online form. I cannot find immigration purpose. There are only three purposes.
Employment
Study
License

Thank you for your email dated March 20, 2018. We have cancelled your application ID#1******** for a specialized assessment and have placed your application for a refund.

If you would like to apply for the ECA Application, IQAS requires the following:

In order to proceed with the assessment you must provide IQAS:

· Completed ECA Application. Completed on-line, printed, signed and mailed or faxed to IQAS https://iqas.work.alberta.ca/eca#/

· Completed ECA Checklist
· Photocopy of your proof of name (e.g., copy of marriage certificate, record of landing, passport page or any government issued ID)
· Correct payment paid online
· Institution Document Request Form https://www.alberta.ca/documents/IQAS/academic-records-request-form.pdf
*(transcripts/mark sheets from institution must be sent to IQAS in a sealed and stamped envelope to be accepted for assessment)

You may fax in the completed and signed ECA application.

fill up the form , in section of Topic of inquiry then check mark on "cancellation process"
then they will return all amount on your credit card balance . it may need two three days

I am facing the same issue, did you get any information? Do I need to send a new transcript from uni?

In my case have cancelled my application before sending any mail to IQAS.

If you have already send any courier to IQAS and now you are in situation to change application or cancel , then first you should consult to IQAS https://www.alberta.ca/iqas-contact.aspx.

As per My assumption they will cancelled your application and previous delivered document will be accepted for new application and no need to send again.

Hello Dear

Reference to my case of cancellation, they will return your fee and perch all information and new application required another payment and it will generate new Application ID .
