I am not sure how to calculate my tuition fees for Ryerson. I will hopefully be receiving offer for their MEng program.
According to their website, the MEng fee for a year is $20,515.19. According to the CIC website which suggests using this link: http://www.educationau-incanada.ca/educationau-incanada/template-gabarit/step-etape.aspx , has a link to help calculate costs, the fee is $ 125,000!! This just cannot be right.
I emailed them and they sent me this link to calculate the fees: http://www.ryerson.ca/content/dam/registrar/pdfs/fees/detail/graduate/masters/MENG_AeroI.pdf
If I add that totals of FALL, WINTER and SPRING, it comes to $20,515.19. However, I don't know if I will have to take 3 terms in a year. Is there a rule that says that full-time international students have to study 3 terms a year? The program administrator told me that it takes 4 terms on average to complete the degree. She said that students complete the degree in 3-6 terms, most of them in 4 terms.
My question is, what will be my total tuition fees then? How much will the immigration officer expect to see in my account? Can I wire the full tuition fees to the university in advance? (for the 4/however many terms"
By the way, for a 2 year program, do I need to show full 2 years of tuition fees or only 1 year will do? I have assumed that I have to show full 2 years.
