how to calculate no. of days for PR renewal

Hi Guys
I am renewing my PR card, i have two questions:
1. What should be in the " period to be assessed" portion of the form, in section 21? Should it be the date i landed to the date that i am signing the application?

2. If my travel dates were from 2015-07-14 to 2015-07-22, i.e. i left canada on a plane on 2015-07-14 and returned on 2015-07-22, should i put those in the column From and To dates? If yes then, my number of days absent would be 7, am i right?

The 7/14 and 7/22 are considered days in Canada even if only 1 hour or stretching a point 1 minute.

In the from and to fields, shud i include my travel dates i.e 07/14 and 07/22?
If i count 15,16,17,18,19,20 and 21st that gives me 7 days.

No they would not you are confusing the physical residency requirements for citizenship where that is possible. For PR you need to show 2 years out of 5 after becoming a PR.
