Hi there,

Kindly need some help regarding my situation please. It's my second year in Canada now with my second work permit (Young Professionals through IEC) expiring in September 2015 and I actually would like to immigrate to Canada. I'm from Germany.

My problem is: I have no family here nor is my employer willed to apply for LMIA. As per the CIC website, I'm not eligible as I am not skilled enough to immigrate to Canada. I am a Claims Administrator for a Reinsurance Company in Toronto.

What else could I do, other than marriage, common-in law relationship or to start a business?

Any suggestions?

Check provincial nominee programs. Ontario has one too and often they cover semi skilled or might even cover low skilled positions too. Once you are nominated by a province, you are eligible for standard PR processes irrespective of your skill level.

I don't remember much details, but i am quite positive that you will be able to find some thing useful looking into Ontario PNP
