Hello All,

The subject of my post may sound stupid, I don't know the best way to bring my sister to Canada even though I'm a permanent resident since December 2012. I am looking for suggestions from you guys who are experienced when it comes to immigration issues. My intention is to bring her and stay.

Thanking you all in advance for your quality suggestions

you can not sponsor your sister unless you are considered "alone in canada" which means you have no relatives in canada, and both of your parent are no longer alive. your sister will have to try to qualify for another stream of immigration such as skilled worker, working holiday, student, or provencial nominee.

As mentioned, if you have any spouse, kids or family in Canada, or parents are alive anywhere in the world, you don't qualify to sponsor your sister.

Depending on where you live, you could check your provincial nominee program and see if any program is available.
