Hi,
My Fiancee (?) or Spouse (confused on what term to use because we are legally married in Pakistan but not in Canada) is currently doing his PhD in America on a student visa.
I was wondering how I could let him come to Canada on a visiting visa directly from America?
Would he need to go back to Pakistan or something before entering Canada?
*edited* Sorry I figured most of it out on my own: http://www.canadavisa.com/us-international-student-travel.html
But, now I have some new questions:
He is studying in North Carolina but according to the website there are only five Canadian Immigration Visa Office's in the USA. Is there a way to get his TRV from North Carolina? Or does he have to directly go to one of these Visa Offices? Can he just mail his paperwork?
Also, how long does the process for a visiting visa take?
Thank you.
